More Space ????

Do stored emails use up disk space? I am trying to decrease unnecessary items on my hard drive to make room for new programs. I'm not sure what steps to take. I have alot of email stored in my yahoo mail acct.

Hello, E-mail is kept at the mail providers server, not on the hard drive per se . Your hard drive has your yahoo folders and to check those for how much data would be the thing to do, but, i don't think you have to do that, just clean up your temp files to decrease the " junk " on your hard drive . Email takes up hard drive space only if you use an email client, such as Windows Live Mail or Thunderbird, etc. If you do not use such clients, you can use the software suggested and it will make space available, but it will not be space used by email
