    Windows Mail problems

    Several Windows Mail problems: 1) items get stuck in the outbox, even though they've actually been sent; 2) every time I close the program it wants to compact the deleted files, but it won't ever do it; some inbox items that have been deleted remain in the inbox even though they are also in the Deleted folder. Can I re-install the program, or is there a way to fix it? Thanks!

    Welcome
    You may not be able to reinstall Live Mail, but you can install the most current version. Windows Live Mail 2011. I think that the primary cause of your problem is the age of the now ancient, Windows Mail.

    Be sure to back up important mail first.
