What is signinJson.jsp?

Hi all! Seems like I'm dropping in here a lot recently.

JCPenney just did a revamp of their shopping web site. I use LastPass and have never had any trouble signing into their site, but now every time I go to sign in this little box pops up that wants to download something called signinJson.jsp. The only way I can get into my account with JCPenney is to "OK" this. After I give it the ok, I end up with this "Smart file advisor" file on my desktop.

The first time it happened yesterday I thought maybe it was a one-time deal for their new site, but apparently it's going to happen every time I sign in to my account.

I have attached two screenshots. Can anyone tell me what this is all about? I've never come across it before.
