weird and off error downloading via firefox

ok...

ignoring the subject matter of the file please, I am well aware of the stigma attached to that show...

really weird firefox issue fellas.

this has happened only twice, this error, I have no idea whats causing it.

the last time it happened was at least two months ago.

in the intervening time I've had to do two reinstalls of firefox, virgin installations with no update clutter whatsoever.

I already know my laptop's dying, random port failures/malfunctions with known good hardware kinda say this.

I have scanned my system using panda cloud antivirus, malware bytes, and spybot. aside from some cookies.. completely clean.

is it possible this is just another symptom of impending hardware failure given its never happened before?

I have in both instances been able to save the file immediately afterwards.
