VB Script has been incorporated in all OS's since Windows 98 - it's already there, so what exactly are you trying to do? You can't recode IE as it's a system application.
VB Script is simply a language you can use in web pages etc. Although it's use is dwindling of late from what I read online.

Read about it here: VBScript - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

IE uses whatever language and script it needs at the time you use it.

When IE refers to Scripting in Tools/Internet Options/Security - Custom Level....it's VB Script in general it is referring to.

Maybe you should be asking a forum that specializes in Scripting such as on Technet for instance.

Hi MilesAhead,
This is for a web programmer when they design a web page what I mean is in the internet explorer options, somewhere I can change javascript or vbscript, etc... scripting language that I want.

<SCRIPT type="text/javascript">
...some JavaScript...
</SCRIPT>

<SCRIPT type="text/vbscript">
...some vbscript...
</SCRIPT>

Regard,
Thanks.

It uses whatever script it needs when it needs it, as I said. It does the switching itself.

But you can't do what you are trying to do as it's a system file and what settings are there are the only ones.

It's sort of explained here: Choosing a Scripting Language

I think any questions regarding that would be best answered on Microsoft forums as it's their application.
