Solved Browsers Cannot Connect

Hello, I am having a problem with my browsers being unable to connect to the internet. I can ping sites.

A couple of days ago MacAfee showed me that a program called Adpeak wanted to do something. I said to remove it, but MacAfee kept bringing it back up. Eventually, out of sheer ignorance, I allowed the program to run. After that point my browsers stopped connecting to the internet. I did some digging and discovered that I had ScorpionSaver on my machine. Eventually, I found out exactly what ScorpionSaver does, and tried to remove it via Malwarebytes. That didn't work. So I decided to go into the Registry, and completely delete anything with the word "ScorpionSaver" in it. I also disabled Level Quality Watcher. When I restarted the computer, it booted up just fine, and ScorpionSaver deleted (as far as I could tell). But still I couldn't connect to the internet. I ran Malwarebytes again and it came up clean. The only browser that works is IE 64 bit. Malwarebytes also cannot update (apparently behind 250-ish days). Any help would be appreciated.

I also checked proxy settings, nothing wrong there.

Do you have a restore point from before the damage?

Also if things still don't connect try Firefox portable on a USB stick. If it works then it could be your registry is hosed.

While this is nothing new heard, I apparently can go back to a point before all of this occurred . Sorry for the inconvenience, but thanks for bringing up the restore point.

Thank you, and have a nice day.
