Hello, I am having a problem with my browsers being unable to connect to the internet. I can ping sites.
A couple of days ago MacAfee showed me that a program called Adpeak wanted to do something. I said to remove it, but MacAfee kept bringing it back up. Eventually, out of sheer ignorance, I allowed the program to run. After that point my browsers stopped connecting to the internet. I did some digging and discovered that I had ScorpionSaver on my machine. Eventually, I found out exactly what ScorpionSaver does, and tried to remove it via Malwarebytes. That didn't work. So I decided to go into the Registry, and completely delete anything with the word "ScorpionSaver" in it. I also disabled Level Quality Watcher. When I restarted the computer, it booted up just fine, and ScorpionSaver deleted (as far as I could tell). But still I couldn't connect to the internet. I ran Malwarebytes again and it came up clean. The only browser that works is IE 64 bit. Malwarebytes also cannot update (apparently behind 250-ish days). Any help would be appreciated.
I also checked proxy settings, nothing wrong there.
