Windows Mail and Live Mail Question

M

mdiemer

I currently have a computer with a vista drive and a w7 drive. I have windows mail on the vista drive, and windows live mail on the w7 drive. the w7 drive is not receiving all messages, and I would like to just delete it, and use only windows mail on the vista drive. normally they both receive the same messages.

If I delete the w7 live mail account, will that also delete the vista windows mail account?

Thanks, Mike

My Computer

Well, I went ahead and deleted the w7 account (after saving the messages in the vista account). no problem, I still have all my messages in my windows mail account.

I don't like WLM too much myself, but have managed to get Windows Mail to work in 7 and 8.1 using this tutorial. This is just an FYI if you are interested. I find muilti-booting I do need some sort of a mail client on all of them in order to communicate.

Another question is raised by the tutorial: Is Windows Mail still supported by MS in Vista?

My Computer

Yes, why? The tutorial mentioned is for Windows 7.
