Vista - Firefox Minefield

Anyone try it yet. I have cold feet.

It's no big deal. There are claims that it is very fast. You can download it and run it from the download - no need to install it.
It isn't well explained, but it has been around for a while and seems to be Mozilla's Base for developing their updates or new realeses. I think currently it is Firefox 3.1, Beta 2.

i have been using ''Minefield'' for about 8 months...& its great!!!

i heard its the x64 version of FF3 but it play's flash so im not too sure

I tend to use minefield in 64-bit and firefox in 32-bit.

I tried it, but since no flash = no go with me.

To many pages use it and just drives me crazy.

Overall after tweaking the latest firefox release I did not notice minefield being any faster.

I am and have been using Shiretoko for a while now - I love it.

Minefield is the pre-release of Shiretoko which will eventually become the 3.1 final, right?

At any rate, shiretoko is almost as fast compared to Fx 3.0 as 3.0 was compared to 2.x....

I have looked into the x64 builds as well, but am reluctant to use them as there is no Flash support for x64. As soon as there is, though, I am building my own using How To Build Windows x64 Build - Mozilla x86-64
