Vista - Latest Razer Mouse

Looks good, not bothered about the wireless features so much, but its shaped just like my habu & goes up to 5600dpi (2000 isnt sensitive enough for me anymore!)

Whats the build quality like of razer mice? Microsoft did a good job on the habu, rock solid.

I have a Razed Lachesis currently (still cant pronounce it though...) and it is great. Solid mouse, with great sensitivity. There are a few wierd problems, like the cursor shoots to the top of the screen randomly, and every now and then the mouse will not work on startup, but other than that it is a really solid build. I would image the Mamba would be even better!

what dpi setting do you have your lachesis set as? I was thinking that i would set the mamba up to 5600, then turn down the win pointer speed in the control panel as it makes it kind of jumpy (hardly noticeable until using a sniper for ultra precision head shot or something)

Yeah, mine is set to 3000 I think. The only reason for that is that it moves around when i type or play music (the bass moves it... gah!)

Can't turn down the bass or it ruins the experience.

....especially the v1 on company of heroes, the rumble from my sub vibrates the house!

My mouse used to move as well i think when i had the sub on the bottom shelf of my desk, its on the floor now so the vibration keeps the woodworm away at least!

Don't understand why they made it wireless...

Though I'll stick with my Logitech G5

Yeah I love the bass. The explosions are better, and so is the music!!

I dont get the wireless/wired thing either, but it does look cool.
