Microsoft Sidewinder X8

Pre-ordered this mouse from Amazon. I hear it's the latest, greatest. Hope it works well gaming. Anyone know if I should just install it without doing anything to my other mouse meaning delite files for it or anything I should do before I plug the X8 in?

Re: Microsoft Sidewinder X8

It's also got the greatest price tag for a mouse as well

Just uninstall any software you've installed for your current mouse before connecting your new one, and it should be fine.

Re: Microsoft Sidewinder X8

Here is my problem. I have the Logitech combo wireless mouse and keyboard. I'll still be using the keyboard. So I can't delite the file in control panel or I'll lose my keyboard. So just go with the mouse software when I get it right?

I have two keyboards hooked up at the same time and notice no problem.. My normal Logitech MX3000 keyboard and the Z-Board for gaming.( it's wired) USB

I guess it's a wait and see situation.

Yea, I imagine you'd be fine just plugging the mouse in and installing the software.
