    Do i need to change my board?

    I Dont want to up my processor right now, just for future reference i want to know what i can upgrade to. I know i7 doesnt work with lga775. My MB is 975x, supports quad core, 1066fsb 65nm processors. I know it can support 45nm with a bios update, last time i tried updating my bios caused some trouble at POST if i can recall.

    Would i be able to to buy a 1333fsb 45nm processor without upgrading bios? or would i be limited to 1066fsb 65nm processors?
