Vista - Any Sims 3 Fans????

I was just curious as to whether anyone here is a fan of the Sims and if they have any reviews of their own about the new Sims 3 game,is it good?Is it great?Is it supercallafradjalistic-expialladotius?I dont know if i spelt that right, but hey, what matters in this thread is the sims cheers

From what I've played so far, it's pretty good although I haven't spent too much time with it.

Man even pretty good is better than anything i've been able to say i have the game but it doesnt work on my computer so i have to wait a few weeks to get it all smoothed out. Its like being an alcoholic locked in a room with the finest alcohols lol

I can run it maxed out, high FPS but it's not silky smooth. It seems as if it's not coded all that well

I just killed my first two sims and had my children taken away

im the kind of person that tries to make sure their sims r ok, but usually ends up with them lying dead around my feet lol

Lol, no it was intentional. I just created a family to test out what happens when you abuse them

They're pretty autonomous in this, so they shouldn't end up dying unless you force them to

I noticed in your other thread, you were thinking about a new PC. It might be a good idea because with your current specs, Sims 3 is going to be pretty laggy for you, even with a new video card

Yeah i know, i thought that too my windows experience rating is 1.0 lol thats why i'm getting a new one. i always check out what happens if you abuse them lol but once i started a fire and my game flipped out and all my sims were dead but it wouldnt let me leave the game, i had to restart my computer but it was ok in the end!

lol, I used to love making the sims use fireworks inside a house and then delete the doors

Maybe some one can clear this up for me. I read somewhere that for some objects you have to pay for them with real money rather than using Simoleons. True or false?

Yes and no. Official content from EA costs real money to buy (they are extras), built in game furniture costs nothing.

I am planning to buy Sims 3 today or later this week. I am excited, as I have played every version so far!

UPDATE: Just went out and got it
