Women....!

I dont get why women have a problem with geeks. I always seem to get the 'geek treatment' being avoided like some1 with the plague. Doesnt matter what i look like or am like as a person.

Dont get me wrong, ill never change who I am because I like who i am, but does anyone else get this stigma attached to them? I think its because other people fear intelligence.

Re: Women....!

lol....... women

there is an annoying stigma placed on a man who likes to game, or spends a lot of time posting.... but it comes from the brain dead stereotyping which is shoved down they're throats by the mainstream media.... ''ooh, he has a PC which he spends lots of money on & likes to play war games'' SO WHAT!!

the truth is, women are upset, we can get enjoyment from silicone without having to remortgage our homes to have it pumped into our lips & chest .....lol (jk)

i love you really ladies.... (hides this post from the wife to avoid a smack round the head)

It does. It intimidates them and thus alienates you from both sexes. You can either act dull like the rest and frustrate yourself, or be who you are and frustrate others. Finding a balance between the two can be difficult

Re: Women....!

Both of my sisters are gamers, and have master's degrees. I am a gamer and have a bachelor's degree.

I have seen, and smelled, gamers at conventions who evidently never realized soap and water are available. I try to stay well away from them. Particularly upwind.

Hmm... As for women who were smart and pretended to be dumb, I would never date them. I look for women I can have a conversation with about history, the universe, and everything. Illiteracy is a turn off for me. Pretending to be illiterate, and I have encountered women who do that, is never a good idea as far as I am concerned.
