Just because the Public (most of them) do not know about other life forms, does not mean that other life forms dont know about us.;)
What does this tell you? Choose an option.

1. They can not contact us because there technology is at a similar stage to us.
2. They dont want to contact us because they see us as a Barbaric Species who kill each other and poison our planet.
3. They are a single cell species and dont know we exist as most of us dont know they exist.
