Vista - I return with news!!!

Hello to all that know me and have helped me over the time I have been here.

I wanted to share with you my news, I am now engaged, for the first time and last I might add, I met my fiancee on my Site which she joined and that was that, we then dated via MSN for what seemed like an eternity, and was awful at times, all that typing and all then we met and it was not long before I moved out.

So this is in part the reason why I have not been online here, not only that but my old GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB card decided to say goodnight to me and so my fiancee helped me find a Zotac GeForce 260 GTX 896MB card, so that should be an improvement I hope, although yet to test it out on games, my life has changed so much now, two little girls to help look after, although they aren't mine, wish they were though!! two real cuties just like their mum!

Anyway, just wanted to drop in say hi and share my happiness with those that know me

Reminds me of my friends Dean and Jenn who dated via MSN and a online MMORPG. Now are married.

This is proof that online dating doesn't always end in disaster.

Many thanks to all of you, its great to be back and amongst good friends, DarkNovaGamer, no we haven't met until now, but thank you for your words also! and I agree with you, I only had three girlfriends before this and they were years ago and the last one was also an Internet realtionship that ended bitterly on my part as she just got up one morning and said she was leaving, no explanation nothing, and I cried buckets for weeks, never thought I would find anyone ever again.

I was not even looking when I met my fiancee, which also to me goes to show sometimes you are best off not looking and let it happen naturally, my late father used to tell me this and I would look at him and say b******* yes not nice to swear at your parents, but I was naive and younger, but at 42 now I have changed for the better!

Only snag in all this is my mother who is now not speaking to me as I told her about getting engaged and married, she does not mind the engaged bit, but is making life hard for the marriage as she does not see the point, keeps telling me the responsibility is huge and that we won't get as much money when married, my fiancee keeps telling me its just that she feels she is losing her little boy and can't accept it............etc.......

I am meant to be jumping for joy and yet my mood is soured by it all

But thank you all dear friends for your very kind words and I will be sticking around again, a little harder as I have two little girls aged 5 and 6, and when I am online or just playing they have the habit of coming in and putting me off, but I don't mind it as they are so so sweet and I have to devote time to them and my fiancee, so my PC time is alot more limited but I knew that before I popped the question!

I couldn't get that right either though, as it was my first time, I waffled on and on holding the ring in its box and my fiancee kept wiggling her finger as if to say "Er......excuse me but, have'nt you forgotten something!!"

It's nice to have you back and with such good news, enjoy every moment and give my best regards to your fiancée.

I think she's probably right what she said about your mothers feelings, don't forget she's had you all to herself for many years and doesn't think anyone else can compare.

Give her time and when she sees how happy you are she will come round and accept the situation.

I'll be sure to tell her thank you, and yes your right about my Mum, she sent a text today saying that she is happy for me, and likes my fiancee very much, but she says "Its all too soon, I can't help that" and then ended with the words "Enough said"

Its still getting too me though, but me and my Mum have had a fiery relationship all our lives, my Mental Illness has not helped things and like my fiancee also said, if I had stayed there, it could have ended in murder, and no-one wants that, least of all me.

I'm out of it and treat my Mum alot better now I am away, too many years couped up in a small bungalow with just my Mum and me and Hyde, not a pretty combination!!

Onwards and upwards I guess
