Water Found on the Moon

Yeah it's over a month old, they have slammed probes into the surface since then.

Yes we knew.

How is it that they can find water on the moon but can't find the landing module of from the moon landing or anything else from the so called moon landing of the sixties.

......because they all landed on 'slow-sand' surfaces, and over time, all discarded materials have slowly but surely sunk beneath the surface, thereby leaving no evidential residue.

So your telling me that the landing base module that was left behind and that stands almost 4 feet tall sunk 4 feet in soft sand. Your kidding right. OK, what about the Hubble telescope that was shot up 20 years ago, why cant it take any pictures of the landing area. Even now there should still be some evidence of the landing area. So why is it that our own Federal Government has banned NASA and anybody else from taking pictures of the landing area that may reveal deception. Odd don't you think.

Yep!.....and then some. Current estimates are that that unit will base out at about 54 feet down.

Hubble's lens and resolution specifications were set for shots of much greater distances [focal length] and spread [wide-angle] in the vastness of space. The close proximity of the Moon [in relative terms] meant that a macro-lens [extreme close-up] for it was never planned for, considered, or included in the build.....not even when repairs were carried out to the lens because of 'fuzziness'......more's the pity!

Have they? Since when? Do you really think that the Chinese will give a damn about what any other 'foreign' Government thinks about those sites, when they get to the Moon? They'll photograph them like crazy.

It would be nice if they could bottle and sell the moon water. At least that would justify the price of paying for bottled water

Well, I was promised, some long number of years ago, flying cars and a retirement home on the Earth's moon.

As for cost of the Apollo lunar missions, they cost less than many things did. Like 2 weeks of the US in Viet Nam, at its height of involvment, was the amount spent on the entire Apollo series of missions.

More money is pent on cosmetics and pet food than the space program.

People claim 'money sent into space should be stopped', when what they actually mean is put university educated people out of work.

And the really sad part, there are more astrologers in the US than astronomers.
