    Replace my Notebook CPU

    Hi,
    I know that some laptops can have their cpu upgraded.
    I have a intel Celeron CPU in my toshiba sattelite l300 pslb1a and I was wondering if I Could upgrade it to a dual core?

    Heres some specs. (my only worry is that the dual core cpus don't go on my socket motherboard)

    The first thing to do is find out if the CPU is in a socket that allows you to remove the CPU. Otherwise the upgrade wont work.

    Most instances this is not an option...i'd check the manuf. site and or have a shop look at it.
    But most likely the answer is no.
