    Vista Home Premium

I have a OEM copy of Vista Home Premium 64 bit that I don't need so I figure I'll see if anyone wants it. It is pre-Service Pack 1.

My disclaimer: I must stress that this is an OEM disc so that it may not work for you because I have used and activated it at least once before. However, I will say that with this copy, I have installed it on one pc hardware config and upgraded the cpu on this pc with no issues of having to re-activate because of hardware changes. Also, I have changed the motherboard and cpu in this same pc and followed up with a clean install using this very same disc--again, no issues activating with Microsoft (no phone call need either--for real!). If you want it, you assume the risk that it may not work for you.

So, to reiterate, I don't need it anymore. I'm willing to give it away. I really would like if someone wants it, that they'd be local to me, as I'm not willing to pay for shipping. If someone wants it and is not local to me, but is willing to assume the cost of mailing/shipping, then hey, it's yours.

I'd be happy to take it. Just send me a PM with details and I will send you a prepaid envelope. - As long as this comes with a Product Key. I've had no problems with activating OEM copies of Windows myself.

    Question?
Did you buy windows 7 as an upgrade?

Yes ~ Then it is of no use as the upgrade is registered with MS. So therefore would be useless.
    No ~ No probs...

No - Got a copy through the Win741 Student Promotion for $30.00
It's a clean installation, I don't bother with "Upgrades" they are always unstable. I have an old Notebook that I'd like Vista installed on..

I loved it! A steep learning curve but if you know how to use Vista HP then you can move straight on to 7Ultimate. Easy when you know how. It's like everything else you just have to learn how to use it!
