    Jason, you are very welcome,

Your kind words make all the help that I, and others, have given you well worth the effort. I know that I speak on behalf of all the members that have given you help when I say that we wish you the best with your new major. In addition, we wish you a long and fruitful career in a field that will become more important as each day passes.

Glad we can help Jason, keep coming back and you will excel at helping others with what you have learned, there is no greater feeling of satisfaction when you help someone with a problem and they thank you in return, that's what keeps us regulars coming back everyday.

i must say the first time rich and lorien, was helping me with my security problem, when it was all said and dun, all i could find my self thinking about was how bad i wanted 2 learn, now theres not many subjects i can read and remember after the first read, but i can with computers. i told the prof 2day y i wanted to change my mjr, he said if i didnt id b crazy not to pursue. i can only imagine how rewarding it is to help some1 and them say ty. untill that day comes il keep telling u all ty, cause u really do deserve it, and then some.

    Hello!

That is excellent news! I am really glad for you! And as I am often saying, you don't have to have a major problem to create a thread - if you want help understanding something, we will again be more than happy to help.

The best of luck to you in the future!

    Another Richard!

    Hi jasond19,

It's good to hear you've found your experiences here useful, even to the point of discovering a new career path and major. I'm sure you'll enjoy it and I'm pleased to hear that we helped not only with the problems but also with this revelation. I didn't really discover it until later in life (it was my second career), but I'm quite happy I did and enjoy it all immensely.

Richard is right when he says that we'll all feel good about your post here - usually we help only with problems/questions and sometimes we do recruit some we help as active members, but to have someone discover their true calling and change majors is a first (at least for me).

Thanks for the kind words and the thanks - it's posts like that that keep us doing what we do.

If we can ever assist you with any questions or problems or anything related, please don't hesitate to post or message - I'm sure we'll all be more than happy to help in any way we can.

    Good luck and best wishes!
