I never tried an all in one desktop. Keep in mind that it'll be harder to replace or upgrade parts than with a regular desktop. Also there probably won't be standardized parts. Since upgrading the parts will be more difficult if you go with buying one make sure that you get what you need. Also don't try to service it yourself unless you are specially trained to do so since the power supplies for those systems and monitors are dangerous. Before you buy one I suggest that you research it and look for reviews.

My neighbour has an HP All-in-One running Windows 7 and as it's a touch screen she says it gets annoying when you catch the screen and things happened you don't want to happen. She uses it as a Television as well so she doesn't have to have another in the room taking up space. :)

All in one computers are convenient because everything is in one package. But you pay a price for this convenience in that servicing is more difficult and upgrade potential will be limited. In some situations the convenience may be worth the disadvantages.
