    Sounds like a hardware ssue maybe with your memory, or motherboard. Here is a KB article on 7F errors:

    Are you overclocking? If yes, don't.

    Check each stick of RAM with memtest ISO CD.

    Boot from ur Vista Dvd and run the memory test.
    If you read <<hardware problem>> remove all ur memory dimms, insert one, start the pc,do this again and again until you hear a biiib biiip ,thats the damaged one!
    Note:Turn switch off pc power and
    ground ur self before touching or removing anything!!
