Vista BSODs ksecdd.sys

Hello!
New to this forum, old to hardware! :P
I’ve got a lot of BSODs lately. The difficult part is that they are not the same and I don’t know how to read the dump files.

Let’s begin with my configuration.
DFI X48 T2RS
Intel 8400
2x2 Corsair Dominator 1066
ATI Radeon 4850
2x320WD@RAID 0 + 1x640WD
Silverstone 530+

CPU and VGA are watercooled
RAMs are cooled by Dominator Airflow
Chipset is cooled with a 8cm fan

OS: Windows Vista x64 Ultimate SP1

The major problem is this. When I left my pc idle, e.g. when I sleep, it crashes. When I wake up I see a BSOD with no special information on it, just a stop error.
Also, when I try to boot, I get a BSOD after the windows logo, ksecdd.sys. That happens only when I try to boot from a reboot, if I shutdown it for 1-2 minutes then it boots correctly. Weird uh?
I have checked my Rams with memtest, my HDDs with the WD tool, I have run several chkdsks and sfc /scannow and tried to repair it with the Vista ERD commander x64 but no go.
I would appreciate if you tell me what to do with the dump file and if you know something about my BSODs.
Thanks,
Sakis
Here are some BSODs from my collection :p

We're going to have to get a look at the memory dump files associated with these errors.
Go to C:\Windows\Minidumps and zip up the contents of that folder, then upload it with your next post.

If it won't let you do that, copy them to your Desktop and do it from there.
If there aren't any files located there, post back and we'll locate them elsewhere (and will show you how to set it to create the minidump files).

My Computer

Yep, we'll need that one - but it's too big to upload here.
So, do this: Open a free account at Box.net and upload the file there.
Then share the file, then post the link to it back here.

Meanwhile, we'll reset your dump file collection methods (so you'll be able to collect more than 1 dump file and they'll be in the more useful minidump format).
Go to Start and type in "sysdm.cpl" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Click on the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings button

In the Write Debugging Information section, select "Small Memory Dump (64kb)"
The entry below it should switch automatically to %SystemRoot%\Minidump
Click OK to exit the dialogs (if a warning pops up, answer Yes).
That will set the system to collect the dumps as they occur and won't automatically overwrite them.

the archive is ziped in .7z format, you can decompress it with 7zip. ;)

i switched to Small Memory Dump. :)

let's see what you can do with this dump

Sorry, but I don't wait for downloads - too much work on too many forums. Please use the link at Box.net that I posted if you'd like the large dump file analyzed.

IMO this is most likely due to malware or corrupted drivers. Please check to ensure that your system is free of malware (here's a link to the Security forums for assistance: System Security - Vista Forums )

SRV2 is listed in the stack trace of the dump files (just before ksecdd). This is usually associated with spyware/adware.

There's also a lot of outdated drivers on your system. I'd suggest updating all of your drivers (this'll help with installing SP2 - which is out now) - and will likely fix the corruption that you're experiencing. Your zntport.sys driver ( Welcome to Zeal SoftStudio ), in particular, is from 2005.

Finally, run Startup Repair from your installation media or the Safe Mode menu (depending on your system). More info here: BC - Startup Repair (Vista)
Also run a bootable diagnostic of your hard drive (to rule out problems there): http://usasma.vox.com/library/post/bootable-hard-drive-diagnostics.html

Should this not help, please post back and we'll run additional diagnostics.

it's called tabbed browsing! you open the link, jump to your next tab, and when you finish reading you go back and download the file. ;) creating an account just for one file seems stupid.

i have KAV and M.B.A.M. installed, i will try and the other apps to see if they find something...

SRV2 is listed in the stack trace of the dump files (just before ksecdd). This is usually associated with spyware/adware.
is there a way to check if i have that malware?

i have bad experiences from MS service packs. are there any other ways to see which drivers are outdated?

Finally, run Startup Repair from your installation media or the Safe Mode menu (depending on your system). More info here: BC - Startup Repair (Vista)
Also run a bootable diagnostic of your hard drive (to rule out problems there): Bootable Hard Drive Diagnostics - Vox

i have done these already :)

My Computer

You've struggled with this for over two weeks now so my advice would be to do a full reinstall.

Do a full virus scan with what you've got and remove any nasties, then back up your data. Click the link in my sig and start at step 1. Make sure to install both Service Packs.
