I have seen several of these posted, but each one seems different, and has a different fix. I can't make heads or tails from anyt of this, so I need help from someone that can. Please let me know if my problem is a driver, and update, or something else, I haven't thought of. Thanks. -Adam

Try downloading sp2.

When do you get the blue screen, what are you doing at the time.

List or update your system spec.

Upload the dump file in zip format, there are quite alot of people here that can decode them.

This error is "SYSTEM THRED EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED" and can be caused by alot of different things.

Is your system overclocked.

Have you tried a restore point to before this started to happen.

Try unplugging a flash drive from the USB ports without safely removing it. If it BSOD's then it's most likely the KB973879 issue.

Go to Start and type in "windows update" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Click on the "Installed Updates" link in the lower left corner of the next window
Scroll down and locate the (KB973879) update, then right click on it and select "Uninstall".
Reboot and test for further BSOD's.
