can you get into your computer? if so can you go to c:\windows\minidump, zip the dump file (*.dmp) and upload it to us using the attachment icon (shaped like a paperclip) to upload it to us.

    thanks

    Chilloh

That bsod was not caused by a driver but rather some hardware. Im leaning towards memory or cpu. Could you fill in your system specs (lower left corner of your post) so we know what kind of hardware you have.

How often does this happen? what are you usually doing when it does?

    Re: help with bsod

    i have a acer aspire 7530

cpu: AMD athlon x2 64 dualcore
    graphiccard: 9600G M geforce
    memory 3gb ddr2

But i think what the problem was. You see I use windows 7 now so i installed software that was installed by acer, acer e-power, acer installmanager etc. and one of them had the option to make the cpu speed higher and i used it but now i deleted the software and after it I had 1 bsod but now the bleuscreen doesn't appear i hope it stays like this.

    but thanks anyway

    Re: help with bsod

This is another STOP 0x124 error as zigzag3143 described earlier.

I would suggest running the Windows 7 upgrade advisor and posting the test results here for us to have a look at. You can download it for free from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
