BSOD Problem

its almost like the memory deteriorates with use. i built this computer approx 5 months ago. when i used it for the first time, it was running like clockwork. 2 months later, i started to get some BSODs. the most common were:

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x0000001A
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA 0x00000050
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x000000D1

the not as common were:

0x00000124
0x00000024
0x0000001E

i went online to search for possible causes of the problem and the results from several forums indicated that the MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error was due to either a lack of power of bad memory modules. as for the other errors, ATI is the one to blame for their crappy drivers. >:[

i would get BSODs randomly. i could be watching a video, opening up a file, playing a game, or doing NOTHING AT ALL!! it would crash on its own. (i did not OC my system)

so please, if anyone out there knows how to fix this, please post. =]

Hi

can you go into c:\windows\minidump. zip the dump file (*.dmp) and upload it to us for debugging.

Let us know if you need help with any of this

You have to compress (ZIP) them to upload. then you use the attachment icon (shaped like a paper clip) in the reply form

Nothing real firm in the 24 minidumps - but I'm going out on a limb here to blame your Kaspersky Internet Security. It's blamed in the 9th crash dump - and could easily be contributing to the other memory dumps.

Please:
- download a free antivirus for testing purposes (I use Avira Free and Avast Free).
- uninstall the Kaspersky program using this free tool: Service messages
- immediately install the free antivirus and update it. Then monitor the system for further BSOD's.

Also, here's some older drivers that should be updated:
Code:
ASACPI.sys Mon Oct 30 22:09:12 2006 - Asus ATK0100 driver
AsIO.sys Mon Dec 17 04:11:49 2007 - Asus PCProbe driver
AtiPcie.sys Mon Nov 06 11:59:54 2006 - ATI PCIE Driver for ATI PCIE chipset
mv61xx.sys - Marvell Thor (networking) Windows Driver Thu Oct 18 23:22:18 2007
