    Blue screen, help please

So I am also getting the blue screen with a

I have been having the problem for awhile and tried downloading the latest patches from vista and no luck. I am running Vista on an Acer and have AVG security software. Below are the codes that it listed for me. Any ideas or help at all would be much appreciated!

    Problem signature:

    Hello zachk,
Can you zip up your Minidump files and upload them so we can take a look at them, you will find them in C: > Windows > Minidump.
These will give us a better idea of what is causing your BSOD. (Blue Screen of Death).
    Thanks.

for some reason it says that it cant "place them into a zip folder here" and asks " would you like to place them on the desktop instead". When I tell it "yes" it say "file not found or no read permission". What can I do there to place them in a zip file? I am logged on as the administrator. I can tell you that the code Mini111009- .dmp has happened 11 times and that those 11 are my most common. Thanks!

Actually, nevermind. I got them into one by moving them into documents and then compressing them. The file is attached. Thank you very much!

    Re: Blue screen, help please

The problem seems to be a driver, o2sd.sys, which is the driver for "O2Micro Integrated MMC/SD controller", i would suggest updating this driver and see what happens.
If you Google "O2Micro Integrated MMC/SD controller", there are loads of download locations for it.

Download O2Micro Integrated MMC/SD controller and Upgrade your Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP with the Latest O2Micro Integrated MMC/SD controller

Download from here, it seems to have the latest driver.
Just an after thought, do you have a card in the reader at the moment ?, if so remove it and try the PC before you download and install the driver.
Hope this helps, good luck and post your results.

Thanks so much! I bet that will fix it, I just got to thinking after I read your reply and noticed that it only happens when my wife has been putting pics on the computer and there is a card in the reader. So I will give it a try now and see how it works! Thanks a ton again!
