Hi,

Please can you copy out the parts of the BSOD circled in red on the picture below. Sometimes a file name is not mentioned. (click image to enlarge)

This will give us an idea of what we are working with.

Also can you please run memtest86+ or another memory testing tool, such as the one that came with the computer.

Thanks,

Richard

Hello eldinheng,
Can you tell us what the Blue Screen says, error number and any thing else you can see that might help.

There are a couple of things you can check.
Go into the Bios and check the sata/ide settings. Make sure everything is set to default.

When in the Bios, change the boot order to DVD/CD first to boot. Then reboot with the Vista disk inserted, and boot from DVD/CD at the prompt.

Repair Install For Vista

If the initial startup blocks, wait at least 10 to 20 minutes, you may just get into the repair section.

Hope this helps, good luck and post your results.

Hi,

Under the SATA section of the BIOS, change AHCI to ATA. This does not always work, but is worth a try. Have you tried "Last Known Good Configuration", though I doubt it will help in this case.
