Hi, first time here, and i need some help. I was updating my iphone to the new 4.0 iOS. And my computer froze, and i waited abt 15 min before i turned it off. After I started it back up, nothing worked! All i can use is my keyboard, my mouse wont move, cant connect to the internet, and no sound. So i decited to try to restore the computer. I went to back it up but it wont detect any USB things, ive tried every port. So could someone here please help me? Or would i have to start off fresh and lose all my stuff on it? Im writing this from my other computer, and was wondering since the messed up one has all the games saved (all are from steam so they will only be able to play on that harddrive so id lose them and abt $100 in games) would there be any problem removing the hard drive from it and my graphics card and moving it into the working one? thanks a billion!

You May Take the Hardrive and place it into a caddy all you need to know is if it is a IDE or a STA HDD. Then you can transfer your stuff.

Hope This Helps,
Josh

If the keyboard is functional, you can try this.

Ctrl+Esc

Type restore

System Restore should be a highlighted link in the Start menu now.

Pressing Enter at the next three defaults should launch a restore to the "recommended" restore point.
