WMP Device Setup Crashes USB Memory card/stick.

OK i have this problem, i insert my memery card reader or USB stick and then up pops WMP device setup (see "Attach Files")

i then click "cancel" and my usb is shut down, or if i dont click cancel it automatically shuts down after 10 - 20 secs.

i have manually set all the autoplay options in the control panel to "take no action" but this has not made any difference.

can someone please help as these auto crash your hardware add-on's from microsoft are really starting to bug me. please give me back control of my system as you do not know best ffs!

can someone please help as this is beyond a joke that i cannot stop windows media player trying to auto detect memory sticks and when i say i dont want to let WMP it closes down my USB's. ppl please...
