Won't boot

I'm running a vista home premium 64-bit, and I just installed Oblivion Goty, however when i restarted my computer, it loaded properly but right before the login screen loaded my computer restarted. I have already tried to start in safe mode, with and without command prompt and every time my computer restarts. Please help.

You gave me valuable information when you mentioned safe mode. Go into safe mode and set up the clean boot, then boot and follow the clean boot directions. If you can get to that point.

In safe mode do a sytem restore and get rid of the new install

If you agree with me that the cause is the new install, start with System Restore.

System Restore is your friend, be sure that you always keep the restore points up to date. Good luck my friend.
