Blue Screen of Death Windows Vista Home Premium 32-Bit

It's been a while now that I began having problems with my HP Pavilion Elite m9100t. All of a sudden, my monitor did not want to work and it kept going to sleep. I bought a new graphics card to remedy this situation but that didn't work. I bought a brand new monitor (HP 2010i) and that seemed to help for a while. Then all of a sudden, I began getting a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) and so I thought it was something I downloaded. I decided to perform a SYSTEM RECOVERY and that seemed to help for a day. Now, I have to perform a SYSTEM RESTORE every time I turn on my computer. Do I have to burn my computer?

PLEASE HELP!

This is my first post. I hope I followed the instructions correctly.

(BTW: I had a HP and suffered from similar symptoms, do you have a Toshiba hard-drive?)

I looked at my system information and I couldn't find a brand name for my hard-drive anywhere. I'm probably not even looking in the right place but I right-clicked on My Computer and then I clicked on Properties.

Anyway, I looked and looked and I couldn't find the DMP FILES that the tutorial asks me to compress into a zip file. I even tried FOLDER OPTIONS>VIEW>HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS>SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS.

Btw, I have since performed two more system recoveries and I keep having to perform a system restore every other time I turn on my computer.

If you can,

next time your computer goes to the BSOD, do not restore, and then get the Minidump file.

Update outdated listed drivers. If I have inadvertently listed any Microsoft Drivers, they can be ignored. You have a substantial amount of outdated drivers. I know you cannot replace all of them but concentrate on those prior to 1/1/07. If you choose not to or the BSOD continue, I will give you a driver verifier test.
Scan with your Anti Virus

How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- The most common drivers are listed on this page: http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html
To remove any left over driver remnants, especially from graphics cards, use driver sweeper
www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/

After performing all of the above, post back with any new BSOD reports, or indicate that the attempted repairs were successful.
If any links do not work, if clicked, please copy and paste to browser address bar.
Remember that several attempts may be required before we can solve your BSOD problem. These reports are not definitive but merely point the way to a solution.
