I think I have Vista Home I'm sorry I don't know more about it such as if it's 64bit or 32. The computer is about 2 years old and Vista came installed.
The fan has been running constantly for maybe 3 days even when it's sitting idle. So last night I set a spyware scan and woke up to the error.
Just hoping my computer isn't gonna bug out on me :/
thanks

STOP 0x00000016 errors are likely caused by hardware or device driver issues.

Have you checked your Device Drivers?

Or Hardware

I am a Newbie when it comes to BSOD but I am Learning

Causes could be Hardware so Test your Memory Just incase with Memtest

See Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool For more information

Hope This Helps,
Josh

I'm such a noob for so many things computer related so any help is appreciated haha

I only saw one minidump but I couldn't actually open the file to read it since my computer gave me a pick which program to use box.

Device drivers would be in windows update? I haven't gotten any prompts to update those.

szkgfs.sys <-- Would I delete this then when I find it? I noticed it's by an iS3 company which one of our spyware programs is. A while ago our Firefox kept crashing on us because of the iS3 as well.

And not sure I'm quite experienced enough to try that memtest yet :/

Thanks for replying!

Unistall first, then go to company website to install the new.
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/171469-uninstall-device-device-driver.html
How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- The most common drivers are listed on this page: http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html
To remove any left over driver remnants, especially from graphics cards, use driver sweeper
www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/

After performing all of the above, post back with any new BSOD reports, or indicate that the attempted repairs were successful.
If any links do not work, if clicked, please copy and paste to browser address bar.
Remember that several attempts may be required before we can solve your BSOD problem. These reports are not definitive but merely point the way to a solution.

The reports merely lead the way. One or two dumps probably will not lead to a solution. If you get more BSODs after taking the advice of Josh. Post and we will have more information to help you.

More information on the suspected driver
szkgfs.sys

It is very important to remember that the dump reports only give clues as to the probelem and although it is very easy to analyze only one or two, usually more are needed. If you experience additional BSOD after installing a current version of the driver in question, be sure to post so that we can use the additional information to assist you in preventing the BSOD's
