thanks thats true and i am about to do it. but i want to solve the problems first because hp advises to solve all the errors before updating to service pack too. and on the way now 'hp mediasmart is not working suddenly, i reinstalled the drivers and ran 'hp suport assistant' too.
"shall i install service pack too and "how do i update the drivers"".I mean manually running the downloaded drivers or from the automated recovery partition or froom the device manager?.

now i cant figure out which device these drivers belong to
shall i up date them all that way. i mean browsing from the computer. and shall i update from the net too.and that way wont some drivers get older still
what do you sugest?

these are my old drivers,and i badly need to update them if any one is familiar with one or two driver update link or some thing please jump into this thread that way we are not alone and hopeless near mountains
