alright, I don't know alot about computers, but attached is a picture of what I'm seeing. I've tried changing permissions, Sharing and anything else I could but I just can't access anything at all. I have admin rights, and I'm logged in as admin, but Still nothing.

does anyone have any ideas? I really don;t want to have to call Nerds o.s.

I haven't been able to access my drives for awhile now...id say almost a year. I have no idea what caused it as I seem to remember just not having access one day.

admin account made no difference.

my storage controllers part is open, and my "AW13WNM4 IDE Controller" has an error message. in properties, under the general tab it says:

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available."

should i try reinstalling the driver?

ok, at the moment, its telling me:

the name: Intel RAID controller SRCS16

apparently one of the drivers took, because It's telling me info about some driver now:

driver provider: LSI. logic Corp.

driver date: 05/09/2006

driver version: 6.50.2.32

digital signer: microsoft windows

and in the resource tab, it even says "this device isn't using any resources because it has a problem"
