Blue Screen unable to system restore

Hi i recently got the BSOD for an unknown reason. Everytime i log in, in normal mode it loads for about 10 seconds then i get the blue screen. i have tried doing a system restore but the only restore points are from the week it started acting up and none of them work. i get an error message saying that the system restore failed and could not complete. i also tried going in safe mode with networking but even with my internet cable in, it cannot connect to the internet. Because of this i cannot download the Bluescreenview and attach that file but the BSOD error says

IRQL_ NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

STOP 0X0000000A (0X00000000,0X00000002,0X00000001,0X8286A148

i do not have the windows vista operating system install disk to reinstall the operating system and i had not backed up my files prior to this incident. Please any help would be great, i really do not know what else to do

IRQL_ NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL is caused by either problematic drivers, windows, or memory problems. Considering the number and type of drivers indicated in the dmp files I don't feel that the drivers is your problem.

I suggest that you perform the following tests & repairs:
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/65361-memory-diagnostics-tool.html
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/66978-system-files-sfc-command.html
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool (please run for multiple passes on one stick at a time)
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67612-check-disk-chkdsk.html

Once you have done those we'll go from there. Backup your files using either ubuntu or another computer incase we have to reinstall windows.

I ran the system files in the sfc command and it seems to have fixed my computer. after running the scan i tried to log on normal mode and it initially failed so i did the automatic repairs and when i logged back on it worked. So far it seems to be alright after 2 days. I created a restore point and i am working on backing up my data this week. I still unfortunately have the problem with my google redirect virus but i dont think this is the correct forum to talk about that. It is something i need to fix but im just glad i can get on my pc again , thank you so much for the help.

Hello, reference the Google Redirect issue, that is a rootkit, use this : Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller
If, however , it fails to solve that issue , you need to get one on one help from an Expert. Post back, reference this issue , on this thread for now.

There are programs to run to assist in rootkits, but, takes expert guidance on its use, start another thread re: Rootkits and TDSSkiller did not work , and lets get the expert on that issue please. Post it in the Security forum for the expert to see it .
