Yeah, just run the program to get the logs, and the logs will help solve the issue, a reformat would in fact work , unless if the issue is hardware. That is reason for the logs. They will help figure out what the issue causing your BSOD'

90 percent of the time its a driver, memory or other software. Do not be quick to reformat, may not be necessary. Even if format will help, if it is software, there are usually much easier ways to solve the problem.

If you post the BSOD reports, that is all we need to start. When you post, additional questions/information may be required.

The reports that I requested do not usually give definitive answers, but rather clues. Yours seems to indicate a driver. Use the driver verifier and submit all the new BSODs reports that you receive, while using the verifier.

I'd suggest that you firstbackup your data and then make sure you've got access to another computer soyou can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so youcan restore the system using the Vista/Windows 7 Startup Repair feature).

In Windows 7 you can make a Startup Repair disk by going to Start....AllPrograms...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc - with Windows Vistayou'll have to use your installation disk or the "Repair your computer"option at the top of the Safe Mode menu .

Then, here's the procedure:
- Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click"Next"
- Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click"Next"
- Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click"Next"
- Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
- Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to useyour system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do thatrepeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because
Driver Verifier isstressing the drivers out. If it doesn't crash for you, then let it run for atleast 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

If you can't get into Windows because it crashes too soon, try it in Safe Mode.
If you can't get into Safe Mode, try using System Restore from yourinstallation DVD to set the system back to the previous restore point that youcreated.

so if i understand correctly you want me to back up my data, do a system repair and then
run the verifier? as for contacting you i can use my iphone, atlest for most of it,
i can usually run my computer for some time before it crashes too, so hopefully my pc wont crash till tomorrow... heh.

That is correct. What the verifier does is to put stress on the drivers and causes the weak ones to cause a BSODs. When you do BSOD, we will see which driver was the cause and then update it, good luck.

Alright here's the deal, I blew out my system namly processor for dust, and I havnt had a blue screen since! But I'm taking ur advice still because I got so many. The system repair detected no problems and I'm currently running the verifier. Is it likely dust caused the problem, and thus caused other driver problems? ( my processor was CAKED with dust. Another question- my pc freezes whenever i try to use my webcam after hibernation, any ideas?

Dust prevents the fan from doing its job, bad fan = overheating. Overheating does cause BSODs

spvj.sys is most likely a dynamic (changing) driver used by Daemon Tools. It's a modification of the sptd.sys driver, which is the one that causes BSOD's on some Win7 systems.

If you suspect it, uninstall the program, then use this free tool to ensure that the sptd.sys driver is removed: DuplexSecure - FAQ - Remove 64 bit sptd.sys
