startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically (help please!)

I was using my laptop syncing apps to my iPod touch while watching videos on YouTube the out of nowhere my computer just froze so I holder the power button until it turned off then I switched it back on then my laptop needed a startup repair cause I can't start windows normally, I went through the startup repair then it says "startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically (I went through a startup repair before and it solved the problem but this time it didn't) then it says to send information to figure out the problem so i clicked yes and then it says to disconnect any devices connected to the computer and i did and turned of bluetooth but still the same thing happens again and again, please help I have very important files on my laptop! (like photos of family, friends vacations and files for school, I know I should of backed it up but I never thought this would happen) I have a Windows Vista Enterprise N 32bit TOSHIBA laptop

This states that there's a problem with your registry - it could either be a corruption, or it could be malware.
