BSOD

So just recently I've been getting BSODs whenever I turned my computer on after standby/hibernation. This has been happening for 1 week now. It started when Mcafee was hogging the CPU usage, so I removed the program and downloaded MSE instead, which seems to be working fine. After a couple days the BSODs began.

This isn't the first time it has happened, about 2 years ago on this laptop was really messed up, and would BSOD every time I turned it on, but we managed to fix it and it has been running fine until about a week ago.

Thus far I've updated the drivers...I should note that I am pretty noob with computers, but I'll do my best to give you all the right information, and thanks in advance.

I'm running Vista (32 bit) on my ASUS Notebook N50Vn/N50Vc Series, its about 5 years old, and I think its full retail.
4GB RAM
Processor: Intel (R) Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU P8600 @2.40GHz 2.40GHz

Only 2 memory dumps in the uploaded reports. If you're using disk cleanup software please stop until we've stabilized the system.

Lot's of problems with Microsoft TEREDO adapter in the Network Adapter category of Device Manager. Please first set a System Restore point. Then right click on each problem device and select "Uninstall". If needed the devices will reinstall when you reboot. The system will reinstall the devices (if needed) when you reboot. In most cases the devices aren't needed so they don't come back.

You do not have Service Pack 2 installed, please visit Windows Update and get all available updates. Continue visiting until no further updates are offered. Please also read this article on how to ensure the Service Pack is installed: Learn how to install Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2)

In the past month or two I've noticed an increase in the number of problems with Daemon Tools on Vista systems (it used to be solely a Win7 issue). Please try this in order to rule out Daemon Tools as a source of your problems:

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please uninstall the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): DuplexSecure - FAQ

If this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

If the above steps don't stop the BSOD's, please zip up and upload any new memory dumps with your next post - and we'll see what we can figure out from there.

Thank you for replying so quickly.
I'm not running any disk cleaning software at the moment (should I turn MSE real time scanning off?), so I am not sure what the actual problem is with that.

I just uninstalled all the Teredo (there were 3) thingys (sorry, like I said I am very computer smart) in the Network Adapters tab in Device Manager, and I am about to install/update to Service Pack 2. Are there any other things I should uninstall here? Like Hamachi Network Interface or Daemon Tools Virtual Bus or the Realtek (under Network Adapters)?

Do I need to address the third party drivers present in the dump files?

Running the dump scanner thing again atm, I will upload it once it is done, sorry for so many questions.

Don't uninstall things from Device Manager if you can help it.
Rather, uninstall the program that controls them using Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program.

No need to address the stuff below the red sentence - that's additional info that other analysts can use (and for you to puzzle over if you're curious). I refer back to it if we're stuck working on this for a while.
