I intermittantly got that BSOD on my Dell work station for 2 1/2 years and thought it was because the graphics card was overheating. Due to other problems, Dell recommended that I reinstall Win 7. After I did that, I haven't had a BSOD in the last three weeks.

If you're using a laptop, don't go to the NVIDIA site for the driver updates. Use the vendor support website because graphics cards are modified for use in a laptop.

What is a m1980a? I can't find it anywhere.
