Solved Task Manager crashes when I attempt to see item properties

I tried to look at the properties of a Firefox plugin-container entry in Task Manager and it crashed. Then Windows become completely unresponsive. I had to hard reboot the computer. Now, if I attempt to look at the properties of any process in Task Manager it crashes with the following Problem Signature:

Is this bad? Can it be fixed? Nothing else appears to be affected, unless this is what's causing my headaches with Kaspersky closing on its own. I'm already working with Kaspersky support. Please let's not get sidetracked.

Did you do anything to fix it? If so please share. I was concerned that according to the error message the version for task manager is for service pack 1 yet you are running service pack 2. So I checked my Vista virtual machine and it has exactly the same version for task manager. I suppose Microsoft didn't update the application for service pack 2.

I was having compounding failures so I rebooted and everything came up roses. That's all I did. That's not to say I don't still have other problems on my computer, but this problem resolved.
