Windows failed to start

Hi, everyone, I could really use some help. The main message is: Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

When I get to system recovery options nothing helps. Also, my operating system does not show up here. I have tried startup repair and system restore (which does not even work at command prompt). Windows memory diagnostic tool won't run, either.
Last night I was able to get into safe mode using f8 but today when I tried to go back it won't work.

I can't remember how to run the boot log, so instructions there would help. Also, since I can't get to safe mode all I could do would be to take photos of the boot log.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance,

Brenda

If you have an install disc change the boot order in the bios and boot with that
Repair my computer will be an option
