hello,
I have a problem with restart that just started today. If I restart my computer , it wont load windows, but if I shut down and start, its ok. I dont know if its windows or bios related. I have tried a system restore back before I installed the update today.
Dont know what to do now. I may try a clear cmos jumper on my board

I have even a bigger problem now.
When I boot into windows ,my sound and my internet connections are not working,
My last resort was to try a live unbuntu cd ,thats my only connection to the internet for now.
Do you think that my hard drive is toast?or could it be something else. my sound is working now so I guess its ok
What could be wrong cant be ram? I dont know

How do you boot into safe mode?

Restart your computer and before Windows starts to load tap F8 and just keep tapping that and you should get several options, Safe mode is one that is offered
