Umm brink is right. Unfortunately, Mobility drivers are not offered by AMD.
The MODTOOL leaves the modified desktop drivers unsigned, which creates a problem with 64-bit (x64) Vista. The drivers WILL NOT load at windows startup unless driver signing is disabled. There are a few ways to accomplish this though.

Stretched Desktop Issue
After many E-mails back and forth to AMD/ATI and FUjitsu the end result is that ATI says once they sell it to the computer manufacture they are no longer responsibile. And Fijitsu says do not download new drivers from ATI but rather only from Fujitsu. So I did get their latest and greatest and it doesn nothing to fix the problem. Fujitsu's latest suggestion is to bring it in and they will replace the video card. What a drag.

HI brink
Yes I should, but original drivers from ATI-AMD website haven't notebook support
I had issues with the ATI mobility driver on my notebook after upgrading from XPProSP3 to Vista Ultimate. Could find help nowhere. Here's what I did to solve th issue as apparently the upgrade left renmants behind and both were loading causing me shutdown error messages, no hibernation support, etc.

1. Run msconfig as administrator
2. Click on the Startup tab
3. Click on the Manufacturer column
4. Look for your ATi products (mine were under Unknown)
5. If ATICCC is checked, uncheck it
6. If StartCCC is not checked, check it
7. Press apply
8. Exit without restarting
9. Check to see if you have a "hibernate option on the start menu control
If you do not have a hibernate option, do the following:
1. Click Start, click All Programs, and then click Accessories.
2. Right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.

3. Type powercfg -h on, and then press ENTER.
Restart your computer.

Interesting. Especiallly since ATI tells me that they do not provide driver updates and that I should only use the ones from my computer's manufacturer. Guess it will not hurt to try it as the driver is shutting down my laptop at least three or four times a week.
