Vista - am only one using computer, but cannot use games

Hi there,

i ahve windows vista untimate 64 bit. I am the only one using this computer. When I want to play a game such as Flight Simulator I get a message saying I do not have access to creat scenery files, contact administrator. I have checked, and I am logged on as administrator but games will not open and come up with sam message. Pls advise. Many thx, Hayden.

Try this. Right click on the game icon and click run as administrator. I know it seems funny that you are already logged in as an administrator and have to do this, but it has to do with the way Vista handles permissions. Let me know if this works for you.

Right Click as the Admin try that first if not Install it Directly into C:\ or where ever you're game dir is but Right click as The Ad Min should work I use soft ware used in The StarTrek Voyager Series my application screen icons sounds are the same as the command deck on Voyager LaCarr's Terminal I use
