Vista Home Premium - 64-bit

I have had Vista Premium 64-bit for several months now & have been getting an increasing number of problems with my displays (I believe they are caused by issues with a Windows driver). After a reformat, the problems came back even quicker.
My graphics card is an MSI HD2600pro with dual DVI outputs, which I have two monitors connected to. One is a 22" Asus, the other a 20" Asus. The latest problem happened this morning, I turned the computer on & my main monitor didn't display anything. But my 2nd display became the primary display (it is usually an extended desktop). I have switched them around, trying different sockets on the graphics card & with different cables. Now Windows will not detect the 20" display, but it has no problems with the 22". I tried the 20" in another computer it worked fine. I have also uninstalled the ATI driver & rebooted, still nothing I would be greatful for any help Thanks |

This is not an issue with Vista per say, but more of an issue with the ATi Drivers. I would recommend that you make sure you have the latest drivers, and if you do then take a look at an earlier version and read the notes to see if this is a common problem.
