Re: hi

Hi

1st, how does the thread title "hi" help us to see what kind of problem you have?
2nd, To answer your question...you "Download" one, that's how.

There, your question has been answered...good enough?
K, Cya Later and Thanx for stopping by!

Ok, that was sarcasm as you can tell, but that's about all your post here is worth right now. You don't give any real information for us.
Like, what the HECK are you talking about here????

coprocessor fo dv231us....what in the World is that? Even Google had absolutely Nothing on that so without any further info there is nothing we can do for you. And for your future information, whenever you ask a question on a forum like this, ALWAYS use a descriptive title or many people will just pass it by without even a second glance...I just about did as well.

Re: hi

So, your dv2310us has a coprocessor in it? If anything, the drivers should be included in the chipset driver package.

Re: hi

The last time I heard of co-processors was with 80386 class machines, with the 80387 Math coprocessor - with the 80486 line and above, it was included in the entire CPU package, thus eliminating the need for one at all.

Most of us geeks know *what* a coprocessor is, but also know that we haven't seen a coprocessor in use in a very long time. So, it is not wrong of us to ask you for more information.

Specifically:

What model is you computer?
How do you know it has a coprocessor?
Do you have a diagnostic utility or else a general hardware information tool that you can show us the coprocessor is listed on?

I am not saying you're wrong - but I *am* saying that perhaps you're using an antiquated term for something that is colloquially referred to as something else now - such as the Aegia PhysX processor, which work along side the GPU for realistic physics....
