Vista - the problem about wireless lan connecivity

i have a notebook hpdv2418 pavilion with winvista ultimate x64
but i have problem about connectivity to my home wireless lan
the signal is week and i see "identifying ..." message i have updated
last drivers for my hp i have this problem with both my wireless modem
DLINK2640T and LINKSYS AG200G i hadn't such problem when my hp OS
was winvista 32bit i would be appreciate if any one can help me

Sounds like a driver issue. You may want to try using the windows wireless manager. Or if you are already using that, try using the HP one. Many laptop comes installed with their own wireless connection manager. Sometimes it works better than the built-in windows one, and sometimes it doesn't. Just experiment and see if it helps.
