| Vista Ultimate x64 MAK, OpenSolaris 5, Gentoo 2008.1.... | Re: GSvr.exe - advice needed Lol - I think you may have meant to, and since Joe has the same or very similar setup he knew where the error was coming from...and I neglected to ever ask you. My apologies, Joe. Now, as to why you're having this problem, I think you had both best get in contact with Gigabyte pronto - you two cannot be the only ones with this issue. |

| vista ultimate x64 | Re: GSvr.exe - advice needed This is what I have discovered. Apparently when we installed the software with our Gigabyte boards it also installed the Dynamic Energy Saver app. After some searching I found it on my C:\program files\Gigabyte folder. In the manual that came with the board it states that it runs in a stealth mode on our computers. I also found out that if you go into control panel\administrative tools\computer management\service and applications\services and open it. Now scroll down in the right hand window to "GEST Service for program management" and either stop it all together or set it to manual and stop it then that error doesn't appear anymore. I have noticed no ill effects from doing so. I have had it stopped for a month now. I hope this helps you all. I would like to know if you have the same result that I have enjoyed. |
