| Vista Home Premium 32bit | DVD/CD Rom Driver I've had a search, but couldn't find any help. My HP dv9000 won't recognise my Disc Drive. This error message is displayed in device manager: 'Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)' Should I uninstall then reinstall. If so, how? Any help is greatly appreciated. Joel |

| Vista Ultimate 64bit SP2/ | Re: DVD/CD Rom Driver See if you can update the driver in the device manager to see if it will reinstall the driver. If it won't update and still gives you code 39 remove the drive from device manager and click on scan for hardware changes. |
